Russia claimed they were taking <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/Crimea" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Crimea</span></a> and eastern <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/Ukraine" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Ukraine</span></a> to protect 'ethnic Russians'.</p><p>It feels like <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/tRump" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>tRump</span></a> dropping hints about military action to make Canada the <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/51st" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>51st</span></a> state, plus Premier Smith's talk of separation, is just set up for the US to roll into <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/Albertastan" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Albertastan</span></a> to 'protect' locals from Evil Canada.</p>
