X (von Clamp) war ein Anime der mich wirklich sehr bewegt hat. Naiv kindlich ergründet er die Frage was an der Welt so bewahrenswert ist, wenn doch überall wo gelebt wird, so enorm viel gelitten wird. Die Handlung ist in einem Yin-Yang-Wertesystem mit antipodisch aufgestellten Figurenpaaren konstruiert.

Sehenswert und auch dank einem Morricone-haftem Soundtrack auch Hörenswert!

A slow plumbing leak! It turned out a hose-clamp needed replacing.

On a boat, plumbing is tucked away in compartments, nooks, and corners.

I didn't have a spare hose clamp, but my neighbour Fran went on a charm offensive with a boater three boats down, and he had spares in all sizes.

A simple enough fix, but there is that initial thought: OH GAWD WHERE IS THIS WATER COMING FROM?

Well, that's why I keep every bit of scrap steel! A rusty strip drilled and welded to a small offcut, cut a bit, grind a bit, brush off the rust, wrap in some old tape.

Wonder where it's going to break next. Definitely not on the lever
