i stumbled on CHVRCHES' debut album again and i actually really miss that lo fi sound they had before their producers took over. they had the same sort of minimalist appeal as Philip Glass on synths that just kind of turned into generic stadium pop as time went on.
Lauren also used to sound a lot more conspicuously Scottish & that was honestly half her appeal
