Today was a bad day in a smaller, more manageable kind of way than the days when I'm just #doomscrolling, looking at #awful happenings everywhere.
I know the current awful #happenings, so near me, will pass.
#personal #BadDay
Had to take an early nap today since yesterday and last night were at the "goddamn this is hard"-bracket.
Now I just sit and wonder if I can get anything done today, or will I rest today so maybe tomorrow would be better...
I call it "disability math". (Not coined by me)
When the edge of the wrap I was heating up stuck to the plate and gently unrolled the contents onto the floor I declared today officially awful. I quit.
It is hereby officially #blanketFortDay
I will start us off (metaphorically) with a big dark cozy blanket cast over the sofa and chair, with some amber faerie lights to twinkle the mood.
What ya'll bringing?
Lets make this span the fediverse.

While I acknowledge the need to walk through the darkness I affirm my right to do that completely lit.
#BadDay #FedUp #NoNewsThursday
Finally, some much needed rain, but even the grey day has set me off feeling quite down.
SO! No news today, Classical on the Sirius, or maybe a comedy stream when I go out for supplies.
I love my mastodon feed, usually, but will be skipping the news parts as much as I can.
Pet pictures will be favorited, though.
Whenever I have a really bad day, then Plushie is waiting for me to cheer me up

We all know how it feels when life gets really tough. It can feel like you're in the eye of a storm, wild and relentless, dangerous and overwhelming. But don't worry, stormy times also give us the chance to slow down, rest and wait. After the rain comes the sun, and until it does, we make ourselves comfortable. Just like on this stormy day on the Lofoten Islands, where we're all together, safe and sound!
I guess someone decided that #BurgerKing #Bodø in #Norway should have a #driveThrough
Oh man. So I was helping @BrailleScreen get his server set up for virtual machines with Qemu-KVM. I installed all the required packages, reconfigured the primary interface to be in a bridge so that VMs could have their own public IP addressing, asked for permission to reboot, did so, and now it is boot looping. Seems to be looping at a BIOS initialization stage though, so it may be a hardware issue that just coincidentally showed itself when I rebooted it. I do feel like I just nuked his box though. Ug. #Linux #sysAdmin #ServerAdmin #BadDay
A messed up start to the day. And somehow it already started last night when I was in the shower and there was only cold water. Then this morning I had to overcome unplanned waiting time, the internet wasn't working and I am almost in a bad mood.
Now I'll have a coffee and then hopefully it's all going a little bit better. ️

Bad day with the battery powered weed whacker. We have three dogs, and I was trimming the taller grass in their mostly wooded yard.
Of course I hit three separate piles of concealed poop. Gross.
Then as I made the rounds of the house and gardens, I was horrified to accident hit a garden snake. Poor guy, he was about 8 inches long and lay stunned. I didn't see any blood and when I went back to take care of it, it was gone.
I hope it makes it. I value them for the job they do on slugs and other bugs.
Today just feels like
