Today for #FollowFriday, I'd like to give fellow South African author @JoanDeLaHaye some love. I did share her profile the other day, but, you know, it wasn't Friday, so let's give her another shot. She's new here and could do with some more follows.

She writes horror and thriller fiction, and she's got a new book out for Easter called Killer Little Bunny. Oh, and you can get one of her books for free if you sign up for her email newsletter. :-)

Yesterday I visited Dylan Thomas' boathouse and writing shed in #Laugharne for the first time. It's a ditty little museum but very charming! Plus it was a VERY beautiful day for it.

I'll freely admit I knew very little about Dylan Thomas before visiting, and now I know a smidge more (including what he sounded like). Winning, right?

For my fellow #authors & the #WritingCommunity... y'all should be encouraged to know that after years of intensely careful character & plot refining, it all paid off (NOT) as early feedback suggests that the by-far most popular character in the new book is the cameo of The Goat in the Purple Turban. Who knew??? 🤷‍♀️ I am mystified. 🐐
