The general shape is that of a white column curving into a yellow sphere at the bottom. The column is made of translucent layers that create a diamond texture in the top half and lines in the bottom. In the middle of the yellow sphere a more solid, shining shape is forming.

A wee fractal beastie — some kind of arthropod, I think, slightly fuzzy, slightly spiny. Soon it will uncurl and skitter away, scattering its uncounted babies across the cosmos.

Curled up on a black blackground is a spidery brown and white spiral with numerous appendages, some of which seem fuzzy while others are spiny. Baby versions of the spiral spin off into the distance.

There's a #jazzy insouciance to this #fractal that I enjoy. I think it comes from the casual, improvisational scribbliness, the brassy colour, and a hint of #saxophone DNA.

The inner section sports gold frills. Further out is a section that looks uncannily like knitted shell stitches in a delicate lavender. In the outer part of the spiral strands of light brown, pale green, and muted lavender are woven together. At bottom left, where the kniitting project is not quite finished, the spiral peters out into coppery scraps.
