The more I think about Futurama, the more I realise how good it was. Truly a special series with lots of gold in it. Might have been an acquired taste type of series/humour?
Also, I do not understand why the series was not as successful as it deserved to be.
Look at The Simpsons. Insane how successful that is.

RT @tamomochi_art@twitter.com: I’ve been wanting to get back into animating. I thought it’d be fun to interact with my character by poking her.

The very first anime that I ever watched was the Robotech cartoons dubbed into English. But, what really hooked me was a bootleg VHS copy of Akira in the original Japanese with no subtitles. This was back in the late 80's or very early 90's before the internet was a thing, so I couldn't Google the plot to see what the heck was going on. It was just delicious eye candy.

Hope people have fun at this year. I can't make it, but I hear the schedule is amazing.

Here’s a time lapse video of my process

So here’s my fantasy/fan theory: When #Disney launches their new streaming service, they’ll need a lot of content. The #DuckTales reboot is the best thing they’ve done in years. So they’ll ask the creative team behind it to reboot all of Disney Afternoon, including Tale Spin and Chip and Dale. Then we’ll get a whole suite of shows that are like our childhood except way better.

Recently read a thing where Brad Bird was wondering when we'd ever see an animated horror film which makes me think he never saw Frozen.

Mastodon doesn't punish you for living your life.

It doesn't actively take metrics of your interactions to gauge your social or cultural capital.

Never will it demand that you post this much to be or stay relevant to the community, disappearing into the void if you don't meet The Quota.

So please, for the love of toot, take breaks whenever you feel you need to! We'll be here when you get back! :patcat:

Finally got around to watching Next Gen (Netflix' big budget Blender production), and omg it was great. It's not perfect, but the story has heart and made me well up several times. Recommended!
