This tree continues to blow my mind! Planted by the previous owner [too close to the sidewalk] it was five feet tall in 2004 when I moved in. Covered with lush foliage in summer and millions of spiked cones, it turns a blazing gold in fall before dropping its needles. It has taken over the front yard, and next is the neighborhood. #larch #anchorage #alaska #trees
