Bar of America

Spent an afternoon exploring Truckee California and really enjoyed the time.
Located in the Sierras not far from the state line. It reminds of the small town I grew up in Michigan. It's a charming little town with a commercial district that spans about 4 blocks with many small shops and restaurants. Then there is the Bar of America.

Bar Of America This is an image of the front facade of the Bar of America located in Truckee, California. The faded coat of arms is what caught my eye. That and the fact that they serve Fat Tire Beer. The coat of arms has a banner crossing the front with the name "Bar of America". Above the banner are six white stars on a blue background. Below the banner is a Bald Eagle and another banner with "E Pluribus Unum" on it. The background for this is red and white stripes. The brick exterior has different patters at angles. The lone window has a neon Fat Tire sign in it. The sky is partly cloudy with high light clouds.
