Big Red Barn at Cross Village

Near the northern tip of Michigan's Lower Peninsula in Emmet County is a small town by the name of Cross Village. Cross Village completes then northern end of the Tunnel of Trees on M119.

Big Red Barn at Cross Village This big red barn is located off of a small county road just outside Cross Village in Northern Michigan. Framing the right side of the image is a mature birch tree. The foreground has a white fence on the lower right and a steel gate left of center. The driveway leading up to the barn is muddy as a rain storm just moved through. The barn itself is large and is a classic structure with a few modifications as there are extensions on the barns side and back. The barn is surrounded by green pasture land.
