Red Barn

I was on a mission when I captured this image of a Red Barn in Levering Michigan. The mission was to capture pictures of old iconic barns.
This old barn reflects everything I was looking for in a barn, the color red, the big barn doors, out on the countryside in the middle of a green pasture with dark blue skies framing the building. What more could I ask for. See the full image here: fineartamerica.com/featured/re

Red Barn This red barn was exactly what I was looking for when I ventured into the Northern Michigan countryside. The foreground of this image is a green pasture with roughly 50 yards to the barn. The barn has a foundation of concrete and concrete blocks extend about 8 feet tall. The barn is tall and has a classic barn shape. The red walls are weathered and faded. The walls are capped off by a tin roof. To the left of the barn is an old barbed wire fence that runs further out into the pasture. Behind the barn is another out building as is common in this area. The sky is heavily overcast with the appearance that it may rain at any time.
