Coos Bay No 104 Front View

Coos Bay Historical Railroad No. 104 is an old steam locomotive located in Coos Bay Oregon.
In areas where the terrain was level it was not uncommon for this iron horse to pull 100 cars loaded with logs at one time.
This beauty was retired in 1957 and has been cared for by a number different groups since. See the full image here: fineartamerica.com/featured/co

Coos Bay No 104 Front View This is an image of an old train and the Coos Bay No 104 steam locomotive. It now sits restored on some tracks alongside the highway. The locomotive boiler tank is black with a grey front end. On top of the tank is a light, the train whistle and the exhaust. The fron end has a cow catcher down near the tracks. Behind the cow catcher are the sets of wheels. The wheels are painted the same grey as the front plate on the boiler. Behind the locomotive is the coal car, painted the same black as the steam engine. There are a few other train cars attached including a caboose.
