McArthur-Burney Falls Creek Black and White

About an hour east of Redding is McArthur-Burney State Park with of course the McArthur-Burney Falls.
This is the creek that runs below the falls. The falls and trail along the creek is a relatively short hike, just over a mile. I took my time along the hike and just fell in love with the lighting along the creek. fineartamerica.com/featured/mc -BurneyFallsCreekBlackandWhite

McArthur-Burney Falls Creek Black and White This image was captured in the McArthur-Burney State Park about an hour out of Redding, Ca. The McArthur-Burney Creek in this image was captured from a bridge over the creek so it appears that I am standing mid-stream. The white water is cascading over rocks as it makes it's way down the creek. A couple of large rocks are exposed above the water but many more are below the surface. The creek is heavily wooded on both sides. At the top of the image coming in from the right hand side is a large limb from an old oak tree that helps frame the creek.
